Privacy Policy

Last updated June 2026

This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple and we collect only what we need.

What we collect

When you ask a question, we collect your question, your name, and your email so we can answer you. Your question is encrypted. When you subscribe or take the quiz, we collect your email and quiz answers. We do not sell your data.

Analytics and cookies

We run our own first-party analytics so we can understand how the site is used and improve it. We do not use third-party trackers, advertising pixels, fingerprinting, or session recording, and we never store your IP address. We set two of our own cookies: one that lasts up to two years to estimate returning visitors, and one that lasts thirty minutes to group a single visit. They hold only random identifiers, never your name, email, or anything you typed.

For each visit we record the page viewed, where you arrived from (such as a search engine or a social link), your approximate location from your network (country, region, and city only, never precise coordinates), your device and browser type, and how the page performed for you. We never record the contents of any field you type, and your question is never attached to this analytics record. You can clear these cookies in your browser at any time.

Our legal basis for this first-party analytics is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site, balanced against your privacy, which is why it is kept minimal and holds no identifying data. You have the right to object: contact us and we will stop. We do not currently share this data with any advertising or analytics platform, and if we ever add conversion measurement we will ask for your consent first. We keep analytics records only as long as needed (visit records up to twenty-four months, interaction signals up to ninety days), then delete them automatically.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your question, send what you asked for, run the community, and improve the site. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store your card details.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to delete your information by contacting us through the contact page.
